Sunday Special

Sunday Special

Only two games today. The first was at Molineux were Wolves beat Leicester 2-1. Wolves are unbeaten at home and are up to 10th in the league. Leicester maintain their 100% losing record on the road, but have scored in every game so far this season. Wolves took a 2-0 lead into half time (over 70% of their goals have come in the first half of a game), which was enough of a lead as Leicester threw everything at them in the second half but only managed a single goal. Leicester have scored all their goals in the second half of a game. Looking at those stats it's no suprise the game turned out as it did.
Prediction 1-0 : Result 2-1 (Out of 12 games in the Championship this weekend Football Stats predicted 8 correct outcomes with one being spot on)

The second game was the Premiership match between Reading and Tottenham. It was a game that Tottenham dominated and the 3-1 scoreline probably flattered Reading to be honest. Two goals for Defoe and one from Bale was enough to push Tottenham up to 10th and give them their 1st win of the season. Reading remain in the bottom 3 and have failed to keep a clean sheet so far this season. Out of the 11 goals that Tottenham have been involved in 10(90%) of them have come in the second half, 45 % of those coming in the last 15 mins of a game.
Prediction 1-1 : Result 1-3 (a bit out on this game)

One more game tomorrow night which sees Everton host Newcastle.
